How Does COVID-19 Affect Our Church?

As of this writing, Ohio is under a Stay At Home Order through May 1, 2020. As a church, we are complying with this order by cancelling all services, groups, activities, and building reservations.

In the meantime, we are holding services, along with music, but with essential personnel only. We practice social distancing when we meet and produce the service. You can join us as we live stream our services at our Youtube channel and will link that content from our Sermons page.

Running the church behind the scenes looks a lot different these days, too. Zoom meetings, texts, emails, and phone calls make working from home possible so we can keep our families and others safe. It’s inevitable that since we are not meeting in service and passing the plate each week, our tithes and offerings will go down. We encourage you to continue to support our church by mailing in your tithe or using our GIVE Page to help us continue operating efficiently.

We also encourage you to check frequently for updates on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. We’ve been looking for opportunities to serve in the community by providing meals to students during the school closures, sewing masks for Fairfield Medical Center, and looking after our isolated and high risk members.

Remember, the church is not a building. It is the body of Christ and includes all of us, actively serving our members and our community. Our building is currently empty. But our church is in action.

If you want to serve or have a need, or know someone in need, let us know. We do our best to check up on everyone but it’s easy to miss a need. We only know if you tell us.

Call or text Pastor Greg at 740-503-8384. Email the church office at Or message us on Facebook. We are all working from home but checking these platforms regularly.

Keep praying for us, for the church, and for the community.
